School

Waking up early in the morning

Rushing to get dressed and eat

So we can catch the bus on time

Just so we can go to school and

Walk-in a straight line and don’t talk

Be told to Sit down and shut up

And ask for permission to go to the bathroom

And learn “Learn” as in being forced to remember a certain thing

And then being tested if you remember how to do it.

Come home and eat and enjoy the little time we have

Before waking up and doing it all over again

School…
