School

School was a blur,

I wish it were

more fun.

First Period: I stepped in gum.

squish, squash.

Second Period: My brain on overload: numb.

zzzt, peeeww.

Third Period: Under my textbooks I smashed my thumb.

CRAP, OW.

Fourth Period: I stayed away from

the weird kid who thinks he's my chum.

Fifth Period: Schools almost done!

Two Fourteen P.M.

riiinng riiinng!

I wish school weren't so dumb.
