School and College days

Traditional transition between school and college was taking place

Seniors said that school looked haunted but college seems to be a palace

Length of long skirts of school would definitely shorten

Mom's questions of shrinking clothes rises and excuse being oh it's cotton

Heavy bags with bulky books loses weight

No deadline to be on time, dictionary loses the word late

Folded braids open up and change to hot puffs

No oil, no ribbon just one feeling that school sucks

List of best friends forever shoots up

Hello, hi, namaste all replaced by wassup

Gradually time passes and no more do we remain freshers

Again the same routine and exams give the feeling of threshers

Same night study but with a slight difference

Excuse of being children now no more works, really such a nuisance

Memories of school days now make emotional

Enjoying with friends, no stress and how exams used to make devotional

Realisation of school days being better gets strong

Craziness and fantasies of college days stays no longer

Just one prayer on lips now to get the school days back

Childish longings make sad and now wish could get it all back
