school life
Missing class is like a game of rejects
School is like a prison and we're its inmates
Homework is like a domino effect
Classroom anxiety a crushing weight
Assignments are a painful death sentence
Weighing down on us like a ton of weight
Teachers are like prison wards for adolescence
Taking and exploiting our marcescence
Breaks are like a the shortest vacation
Full of fun like home and like no school

Your Poem's Voice
Mostly personal school experience with minimal abstract philosophy.
Dense clusters of complaints and comparisons; multiple ideas per line.
Overwhelmingly negative; prison, death, crushing weight, exploitation.
Intense frustration and complaint-driven voice; forceful accusations.
Approximately 10-11 lines; falls in mid-range category.
Extensive similes throughout; nearly every line uses 'like' comparisons.
Pure lyric voice; internal emotional expression, no narrative or persona.
