School Recollection

Bam!!!
The book slams on the desk
the slight smell of cleaning products lingers through the air
kids open and slam the fresh blue lockers as if they are already dreading the classes
Teachers at the door greeting and meeting every student both old and new
School oh school how I've missed you
Girls running up to friends reconnecting about the summer
quite girls like me jump first to get all the book
different looks, new books and for me a whole new outlook
schools in session for me it's the biggest recollection
