Science, Fuck Yeah

I see

A scientist

In the lab, in the field

Studying, researching, learning, understanding, exploring

From the tiniest microbes to the biggest creatures on the Earth

From the smallest village to the largest metropolis

From the individual plants of an ecosystem, to the global biosphere, breathing and dying together.

I see

A new world in the making

With capable, compassionate, clever hands at the wheel

Sharing the benefits for all, equally

And breaking apart the corruption and disgust of the old ways.

I see

Cures and treatments

Solutions and inventions

Prosperity and achievement

On scales never seen before.

I see

Me,

A scientist

Making the dream

Come true.
