Scientific

It is strange to think that our world Was once a rock Or even less A collection of scientific particles in an empty vacuum Colliding, meshing, binding Into one solid rock Perhaps being struck by another rock Stone against stone Creating a satellite in the most natural sense It is strange to think that our world Was coincidentally placed Scientifically in the perfect spot To sustain life To grow scientific bacterium That would become scientific protozoans That would evolve into higher-level Scientific creatures Creating an ecosystem that would flourish for millennia It is strange to think that our world Has formed massive beasts Only to have them struck down Extinguished By a scientific Armageddon Leaving no trace Except the rotted bones crushed Underneath miles of pressure Creating an inky sea What is strangest yet Is that in such a scientific world The earth has created such Spirit Such life Such beauty Such heart When man evolved from The scientific primates before him He brought a new Abstract Thought to the scientific world With him came myths and fairytales Any and all to explain such a scientific world He brought a heart into this scientific rock He brought a soul into this lifeless planet And he brought a new era For not only a scientific world But for a scientific man as well For despite us now knowing just how Scientific Our world is We will always remember How man gave the world a heart A god Anything to turn Such a scientific rock Into life
