Scorned girl

But nobody looks at that scorned girl

With her sharp features and soft eyes hardened to stone

And nobody bothers with that scorned girl

Left on her own, her words against the world

Deaf ears turned to her

But nobody sees how she fears

Her lips tight and hands clasped but she’ll always find a way to dance

That women scorned
