Scream

I'm screaming

Screaming so hard my throat is dry and raw

No one hears

I'm drowning in the sound while people swim by

I can't breathe

No oxygen left in these worn lungs

I write

As I put this pen to paper I feel the water release me

I'm free

From anger, mistakes, and frustration

I feel

The happiness grow
