scream and shout

they scream and shout as I try to drown them out no luck as there wails scar my ears they wont shut up as I beg and plead tired of them screaming all around they fight and fight still no luck of them shutting up I wish for quiet and for peace hating every breath they take there screams overpower my own as I call for peace no luck I find so I write and write knowing only that it keeps me sane if not at least amusing people of some different faiths calling I beg for someone to help no help I receive in days to come and then I escape to a new place to sit and listen basking in glory of silence and peace then they send me back to the fight as an age old process starts all over again and I write and write safe between the pages of a notebook or the folds of the internet and this is why I write...
