Scream of Glass

Five by Five

tracking the movement of my eyes

TAP by commanding TAP

slowly latching on my sould, setting it's claws deeper

Why then do I need it if it sounds like such a nuisance

My mind wanders away but my eyes continue to stare back

The screaming glass commanding my world

My attachment to my surroundings tethered by this one five by five sheet of glass

The screen shatters as it bounces against the cold concrete

and yet rather than the relief of feedom

comes the scream of death

as if my world was gone and my sould battered

I need it

it is my all, yet it has the power to make me succumb to nothingness

IT is my life, and without it I am nothing
