Screaming

I'm screaming

Can't you hear me

I smile and wave
Laugh at a joke

Tears are streaming down my face
My soul is wracked with sobs

I start a test
Pick up a pencil

I clutch my head between my knees
The world is falling beneath me
The sky is on the ground
Water in the air
My screams deafen my own ears
The hole in my chest
Is pouring blood
Soaking my life
Please get me out of this nightmare
PULL ME OUT
I CAN'T STAY HERE ANYMORE
CAN'T YOU HEAR THE DAMN SCREAMING

I put down the pencil
Smile through the day
And later that night
Pick up a gun

My smile is broken now
Just like the rest of me
