For the screens illuminate themselves

For the screens illuminate themselves brighter than street lights blinking at yellow to let you know you must speed up, but only if you choose to

Life is a road full of opportunities and advances

If you don’t turn on one path you will be left to follow the undesired road of chances

The road that intimidates you until you cannot drive any longer and want to steer off the path in difficult circumstances

Poetry becomes the force that pushes you out of bed every morning

And you no longer have to bust your brain to think of what could possibly be the next unexpected warning

Behind these paths of enhancements

lies the road bumps of commandments

No rules in this pursuit of poetic understanding

Cause my prose and my stances are so vivid like a work on canvas

Art forms in many ways either it be spoken word or dances

Take a step forward to the world of creative answers

Scribble a word or two on the billboards of my standards

Sway with the movement of my haikus placed outside on banners

Please don’t tell them i didn’t teach you good manners
