Screw Up
Keep to me like Prufrock kept to his lover.
Deem my soul to be a heartbreaking winter.
Pulse my arm with your stabbing words.
Release yourself of my imprisoning verbs.
Damn my life with curses you throw.
Enlist me out of your deserving, hatred and hurt.
Closer, engulf me, enlighten my being.
My entity aches to feel the torrid of shame.
Finish my sentences with that I don't mean.
Empower my actions, drive me insane.
Perform as a curate to confess me my sin.
Dante's Inferno has yet to begin.
Hellish and unemployed from my sensitivity.
Feed me a dose of my own medicine.
But one day, or not, forgive me --
Again, once,
Let me begin.
