Screw Up

One mistake,

will you ever let me forget it...

Understood what was done was wrong

Understood this was a disappointment to you.

But hey let’s think of it this way,

What else is new?

So hard to please,

So hard to understand.

Don't know what to do.

What do you want from me?

Not what you wanted in a daughter,

that's why you had her.

But someone can only try so hard.

Do you see that?

Do you?

Or do you only see the mistakes?

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” - Mad Hatter
