Scribbles

They thought they could crash down on my dreams, But all I hear are meaningless screams, Voices telling me that I'm no good, That I need to just lie down as I should, But in the mornings, the days, the seasons, the years, I scribble down my fears... These scribbles; they make no sense, They think I'm just crazy, That my mind; these scribbles are dents, But really; they just view me as lazy, So that's what will become of me, For that something is all I hope they see, That I'm just some random kid who they can't understand, That when I hit the streets running some day I'll land... Land on all my reasoning, my will it can't be broken, That the reason I can't stop is just an incentive; a token, A toll that I will continue on through till the end, Where we all meet that mysterious bend. These scribbles they are more than just things, They are my dreams, my future, my life, just...me, I will fight this unending blight until victory rings, Because what I fight is adversity can't you see?

In short, I am a student. I enjoy the sport of running, reading, writing from time to time, and above all I simply believe.
