The Script of My Soul/I Write To Exist

Emotion Dripping Down My Heart. Thoughts Seeping From My Mind. My soul is Delicate Beautiful Untouched. As words are Formed Within my Body They take shape as Poems. I write to Feel Think Breathe Understand The ever-changing world that is around me. I am connected to all that is alive The Earth, sweet ripened nature Humanity, crazed desperation Animals, instinctual creatures Nature, innocent wilderness. My connection is my words They drop from my hands I offer them to the world To the sky, in its gaping mouth, I speak my words. To the ocean, underneath every salted curl of the rippling tide, I draw my words in its soft sandy skin. To the trees, amongst their whispers, I carve my words into their rugged hands. These poems are the Script Of My Soul. I write to Exist.
