The Sea
I can feel it calling me,
Calling me to be free.
I can feel it touching me,
Begging me to come see.
It is like a siren's song,
It's pull so very strong.
It has this power,
And it call to me at this hour.
I answer to it,
I must admit.
I am not ashamed,
Because by it I am named.
It holds my life and future,
From which I can't suture.
Me destiny forever intertwined with it,
And by this night, I commit.
I am it and it is I,
By this rite I cannot lie.
It is thus I bind it to me,
I am now one with the sea.
