Off to Sea

July through September

I'll try not to remember

The nights I will cry myself to sleep

Feeling the pain of a longing so deep

I know the letters will get me through

Every day bringing me closer to you

Starting college, becoming an adult

I can't wait to see the result

Because after we are apart

It will only be the start

A wonderful life together

Loving each other forever

And while you're reading this please don't be blue

Because you'll always know that I love you
