Sea

it's three in the morning when I hear my doorbell

your what's behind it with that bottle and I can tell

your saying you wanna talk to me

but it's the Cognac that's doing all the talking

it's pretty chilly out though so I let you in

you don't come in alone you bring in your bottled friend

you always had a better relationship with your parents liquor cabinet than you ever had with me

you tell me that your sorry

but your words are all slurred

I'm well aware tomorrow you wont remember

that's when you started to cry

and against my better judgement I held you and said it'd be alright

I knew that was a lie

and you knew it too I could tell by the vacant look you made

the look you were trying your hardest not to make

you were too

far gone into

its sea for

my simple words to save you anymore
