Sea Dreams

Crash, crash, I can hear waves, Hitting the shore. The sounds lure me in, And pull me to the edge. Come, come, The dark water, Whispers to me. I am obedient, And enter the cold. Farther, farther, I am told. As I make my way, I leave my sadness behind me, And let the water engulf me. Deeper, deeper, I am called. I sink, And hold my breath for hours. I clear my mind, And smile. I am at peace, In my dreams of the sea.
