SEA Me

we were the ones who had to flee

we were the ones who had to leave

became a gang of broken families

and we were walking til' we were on our knees

travelin overseas, stuck in a cycle

poverty, hunger, discrimination

come from the life of a southeast nation

dirty, poor, and uneducated

come to america and it's not much better

it's been this way since forever

screw immigration

screw donald trump

all he is, is a bahk ha kee khan

you think you're better because of your color

because your eyes aren't slanting upwards

because you came in and "saved us" right?

i'll let you know, we ain't giving up this fight

this system isn't built for us

it helps everyone except for us

stuck in a category, we can't succeed

it's the benefits, that we're in need.

i have buddha on my neck

i was blessed by the monk

i'm reaching enlightenment, that's on the way

i go to the wat the very next day

grateful for life every damn day

come to america and it's not much better

raped and killed by Jeffrey Dahmer

no one ever believes in us

family and faith is all we trust

you think you're better because of your color

because your eyes aren't slanting upwards

because you came in and saved us right?

you think all those kids wanted to fight?

we're not like the others

it's hard for us

we come from nothing

help us up
