The sea rages on
Wind hurls–waves toss–water churns
The unforgiving depths lie in wait

Unfolding rapidly into the abyss of the in between
The mouth swallows me whole
Drowning–I am drowning in the sea
Crashing into crushing spaces
Falling. I am falling.
Falling into the void of unknown
Un-trekked uncharted unmapped un-discovered.

I drag along with the bubbles
That carry my body
Dissolving with the foam sweeping by

I do not dare fight
The awesome power
The ocean cannot listen
But my body drags on
And after a time
My soul washes up
To foreign shore

And though I know nothing of the future ahead
I do not fear
The storms of this land
Cannot overwhelm me
For the sea rages on, that I
will have once conquered.
