Sea of Tears
The worst type of pain is pain that embeds itself into your body and soul
It drags a knife across the delicate tissue of your heart and your lungs and your abdominal muscles
As you hold another knife in your hand to split apart the seams of the skin on your wrists.
The worst type of pain makes sure you feel gravity
It makes sure it has a grip on your neck and weights on your shoulders
It makes sure you suffocate.
The worst type of pain makes the thought of damaging those you store away in the safe of your heart
Minimal.
The blood that trickles down your body, the radiating empty noise in your head and the water your feet are coveted by induce horror
But not enough to make your feet halt to a stop before the shore.
A sea of tears is replaced by a lake of blood.
