Sealed shut

The glimpse of the past Overwhelmed me immensely Thinking it can last I cling on to you hopelessly She was the fire That drew me in closer My love was dire Which is what broke her She is in everyone She sits tourmenting my soul I can't differentiate Why I always lose control I sat obessesing over you I know where road leads I won't fall with your ruse And sit here and bleed Because I lead with my heart I don't check the bend I make myself a obvious target And be surprised when it ends I can't open the locks Im scared it'll happen again I can't turn back the clocks When she left me in chains I need to look after myself To find that never ending relief To a moment of peace that is brief
