Seam by Seam

I choose my socks wisely

More than two drawers worth

These delightful toe-warmers correlate my mood;

Otherwise I’ll start the day off on the wrong foot

(No pun intended)

Yellow for the California sunshine-kiss

Or perhaps, gray to satisfy the unexpected, but welcomed rain

And if I’m going to my day-job?

Whites ones it is, to match my future physician’s coat

Or maybe?

A black pair with the single streak of white;

There really is a silver lining
