The Search

the sun doesn’t shine during the rain

you can’t see the beauty in the middle of the pain

once you move past and see

you’ll become who you were meant to be

don’t let heartbreak and loss hold you back

there’s nothing that you really lack

you’ve never been given the love you deserve

because people have a lot of nerve

they love you when convenient

and that can make you lenient

make them win over your affection

but make sure you’re going in the right direction

and if push ever comes to shove

remember what people do to find love
