In search for a bounty

Titus 1:15

15 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

Inside look

Where do I see myself … seldom in the mirror?

It seems my face is plastered … all over the news.

In characters getting caught … most of all defectors

The ones who had mastered … to despise the Jews.

Many in this country … are fitting in this mold.

Very often the people … who glitter in the limelight

In a search for a bounty … for their pots of gold

To be used as a staple … to fulfill their greed and might.

Without Christ all Christians … would be the same as they

But within Jesus flourishes … to suppress our hunger to sin.

The only great difference … is God’s principle in our clay

Which constantly nourishes … God’s righteousness within.
