Matthew 7:14

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

All of a sudden here I am with little left to do

What for long appeared a burden now leaves great emptiness

Why was I so blind … why could I not think this through?

Now that you have left me all I feel is loneliness

How can I paint a picture if I can’t find the canvas?

How can I dream of yesterday when time stopped when you left?

I feel like an unused fixture in a room that’s labeled: “Hazard”

Where I am the one who paid and now is totally bereft

Take time to find myself as I am plastered in the familiar

How can I get out if a many a door is all I see?

Are you the one to tell? Is your condition kind of similar?

Don’t you have any doubts? Can’t you let me be?
