Searching

I keep waiting

I keep searching
The confusion all consuming
Was it real, is it real, does anyone care.

Is the memory that haunts me just that
and nothing more than a page in my diary

The circles are never ending
My mind never stops spinning
Leaving me dizzy, dazed and alone
in the darkness of my own shadow.
My core is shaken, my heart aching

I can't breath, I can't think,
there's no room for me,
I am suffocating in this black hole,
of confused emotion.

What is real, what is true,
what path is meant for me.

They say life is meant to be lived,
not a problem to be solved, then why
wont my brain stop, why is my soul restless and searching of
and my heart yearning for understanding.

Will I ever be seen, will someone truly care,
will love rescue me and accept me entirely,
or is my soul lost, its mission unknown,
its path surrounded by walls to high to climb.

This is my future, the unknown.
