searching
never taking flight,
never attempting to leave,
but having dreams and always trying to believe,
that maybe today's the day i'll grow my own wings,
you say you want the best for me,
maybe the best is just letting me be,
i've been longing,
just for a since of belonging,
never fitting in,
no matter how many places we've been,
finally finding friends and then,
your always uprooting me again,
i've been looking for my pop,
you told me to just stop,
don't hover over my shoulder like a bodygaurd or cop,
I want to find the secrets that are buubbled up to pop,
you were right th guy is donkey,
he goes around goofing off like a monnkey,
he does not care,
the spoiled guy is living a filthy rich life-it 's not fair,
searching searching for more,
just looking for the right door,
i've been down this road before,
empty pavement streets and sagging in defeat
