Searching Love
Crippled with words stood the heart.
Asking all what it has caused?
Seeking answers, it ran a race.
Finding pebbles, it gave the trace.
What is love? It asked the sky
Above in my house live thousand lights
Yet my expanse is the bright -
When the sun burns to its might.
What is love? It asked the earth
Flames and fire, I hold it deep
Bits and dirt are all that greets
Yet when he tils, the cereals stand tall.
What is love? It asked the blue.
A little of rain a little of pain
A stormy thunder a brimming river
Yet the clean and pure and clear.
What is love? It asked the mother.
Some respect some anger
Some fight and a lot more cries.
Yet in her warmth you find world peace.
What is love? it asked him now?
Bold and wild he cried out loud
Poise and prim senecios within
Yet in her arms you find the bliss.
What is love? It asked her then?
His pride to my head is all I know
His world all well I need to hold
Yet in pain I find a foe.
What is love? It ended to love
Silence is heard, pain all felt
No words uttered no deeds counted
Yet unconditional is all about love.
Love is real, love is divine
It’s the happiness of upheld glasses
Love is charismatic love is sublime
It’s the smile on his alluring face.
