Seaside Fantasy
The porch light is blinding.
In the darkness my way I am finding.
Over pebbles & rocks.
Roller skating to the docks.
Across the ocean pier.
No diving, skating, or beer.
Seagulls look for fish.
Salty air you miss.
A lover to hold & kiss.
Sweetness of a desert dish.
A marriage proposal is my wish.
Not in this life the serpent hissed.
