Seaside: A Note to Sadness

Like the tide

    You come in

And out

    Of my life

Salty water

    Seeking to

Cleanse

    Seeking to

Burn

    Red eyes,

Flaming

    Cheeks

Seagulls

    Laughing

At me

    As I erode

Away
