The Season of Change

Little girls around the world, scared to walk alone

Teenage boys forced to join gangs to put food on the table

As a little girl I thought we lived in a utopia

I use to look at the world through rose colored glasses

I have always thought that knowledge is a super power

For a long time I have been yearning for something more

To be a powerful force for the ones who cant speak themselves

To make our world happy and beautiful again

Becoming a leader to all who will listen

Learning about pain and sorrow

Finding the real me along the way

Changing the world one small step at a time
