Like the Seasons

Oh, can’t you see I’m changing like the seasons?

In the spring of my life, I began to sprout up

Recovering from the winter of lives past

Alas the seasons keep changing

From spring to summer

Where I am all grown, strong and tall

My flowers in full bloom

Soon my life's in fall

My body like a tree losing leaves

Praying I live to see spring

winter comes

Watching my brothers fall

I know my time is  up

I reflect on my days

What a wonderful life
