Seasons

As spring turns to summer we're out of school

Time to hang with friends and try to stay cool

Part of May with June and July

I'll lay in my bed and cry

From green to red and yellow

They fall from the winds bellow

Taking my happiness in it's grasp

The leaves now lay dead on the grass

School starts and now color turns to white

My vision is getting blurry and my future is out of sight

Days turn into months and now it's the next year

my mind is on auto pilot and I wish that I could steer

I've been a let down as the frost melts away

Never once when the buds bloomed asked if I'm okay

Another spring break and Oh! now it's summer

back to crying in bed, oh what a bummer

Waiting for school to start to begin another cycle

I've been feeling this way for quite a while

As the seasons change, spring summer winter to fall

The old me is gone, theres no trace of her at all
