Seasons

Changing like the seasons

The person you thought they would be and

The expectations you had, what to do when it turns bad.

Im at this point where I odnt know what to do.

I honestly trusted you,

You were one of the few.

So you've changed, it's my turn too.

You act one way then you act brand new

The bull and the lies you filled my head with,

Are the same lies I trusted my heart with.

The feelings I have for you never changed,

But hey for you I cant say the same.

The ridiculousness of what I thought we would one day be,

And the future that i thought I'd one day see

I guess it was just a dream

But it felt real in the beginning it seemed

You promised over and over that you were here to stay

But the stay was going to be temporary was what you forgot to say.

I guess you cant trust a pretty face anymore,

Because the pretty faces are the ones that drive you into the floor.

Nice body athletic all that

None of that matters in reality in fact.

So next time I know better, the princess wont fall for the lies again

because shes been there done that she's through for now,

Until the next pretty face, good body, athletic boy comes around.
