Seasons Change, People Change

Sprouting from its limb as a beautiful green leaf, filled with life The sunlight makes a silhouette of its desolate shape Every leaf unique in size, structure, and pigmentation But similar in character, in that it's just a solitary leaf The gusts of the wind-what majestic forces they are-tug on the leaves Utterly uprooting some from the branch to be carried along for the obscure courses of the wind Changing direction, alternating the speed of the leaf simultaneously as it descends to the ground Withering away at its core Evolving it from its primary state It falls to the ground...unrecognizable as the brown languished leaf Remaining on the ground, disintegrating.
