Seattle

Do you remember the night you went to Seattle with my brother and got lost? You finally found your way back, and by 5 am you showed up at my house. You told me you were sorry and that you accepted my apology. We were going to get back together that night. You had no where to go so you climbed in my bed. Your good looks, brown eyes and sweet talking did all the rest. Your touch said you needed me but your body said you wanted me. We made love. At least to an extent to what I thought was love. The blinds were open and I could see our shadows skimming crossed my wall with the light of the moon. The devil watched and laughed as you fooled me. He applauded you and gave you congratulations. Most the time when the devil had something to do with evil he forced people into it. But not you. No, of course not. You got pleasure out of doing such a thing. After you were done I told you how I felt for you and asked if we'd ever be the same, you didn't say a thing. I didn't ask for more of an answer because the silence was already enough. I rolled over and began to cry. Hysterically and uncontrolled, you fell asleep to the sound of my pain. That's the last memory I have of you although there was so many more after that. I just keep getting the flashbacks. That time plays in my head daily over and over again.
