Second Chance to Life

Without it I couldn't live,

In a way it's a gift.

From the one above.

It's his gift of a second chance to live.

This pacemaker,

It brings pain.

But from the pain I gain,

Strength and power.

You can never break me down.

I have a second chance for life,

These limitations can't stop me.

I am living how the lord told me.

With this little gift inside of me.

Granting me a second chance to life.

I am a quiet, sweet girl that loves to express herself through poetry. Hard times hit me when I was only about six months old. I have a heart problem and a pacemaker, however this doesn't stop me! I'm a strong individual who doesn't give up easily!
