Second Chances

Quit doing it. Quit looking back. Stop imagining what you could have had. You keep shuffling through the memories and reliving the pain. Even though all you ever were was a token in his game. Keep saying it’s your fault. But you’re just putting your own life on halt. Making excuses. Why are you the one that always loses? You need to stop and see the light up ahead. Wake up and get out of this house, get out of this bed. Start over. This isn’t over, your life isn’t over. Sure it’s going to hurt. But stop and think of what it’s worth. You got to keep going. Keep your head held high. Don’t let one stupid boy ruin your life.
