The Second Demension
(poems go here) Dappled light dotted the green
Scraggly twigs blew in the wind
Birds twittered
Grass swayed
Leaves scattered
Gusts hurried the critters
Innocent light fled
Crumpled petals dropped
Guilty darkness cruised
--
Blue-white flashes abundant
Clear glass shed sunny rays
Quick-steady thumbs drummed
Crinkled brows puckered
Ersatz lights lit faces
Blooming children subdued
Hidden fascinations obscured truth
Arguments ensued
Endless scrolls missed parchment
Dusty quills lost writ
Unfounded eurekas fumbled thoughts
Brilliant minds quit
--
Lost at sea
Help me be!
Vanished thoughts appear
Forgotten reasons for this
penury
Screens distracted needlessly
Futile attempts were weak
Wretched fortitude sped me by
Now the darkness seeps
I thought I lost my mind
Out there
Stranded on the sound
But merry be these dancing lights
How I wish I’d never found…
Earthly resonance remain
Sticky streams ooze
Only rocky outcroppings
Are left for me
