SECOND OF NEW DAY


SECOND OF NEW DAY

 

Second of new day;

‘tis a new beginning,

‘tis a new start,

Know why I’m here,

But it doesn’t make it easier

Having to learn new tricks,

My journey for me

Has had many difficulties,

Although I admit,

That over time

Things should get better,

But no way if confused,

First thing in the day;

And the waterworks

Just sit there,

Waiting to have their way.

 

So, for me a brand-new day,

In the making of me…...
