Second Place

I hope you don't think of her anymore. How could a love so sure bring so many questions? Trust is no issue but I feel like I'm being tested. Constantly she plagues you in your nightmares and your dreams, too blind to see me right here in front of you as I scream. My love for you is for no other, and no other is deserving, but for some reason I just can't shake this pain inside of me, I'm hurting. However, I know the place I hold therefore I'll settle, no pride, no pleasure, or reward, forever your silver medal.
