Seconds

There are 2,228,800 seconds in one lifetime

Each containing countless possibilities

You were one possibility

You are my possibility

Why do I love you?

Out of all those seconds

My time was due

I had one second

To decide on you

With unwavering faith

I decided that my lifetime would be spent with you

Choosing you is what love is about

Deciding to give all your happiness to one person

For the rest of your life without a doubt

Why do I give time and energy for what we call "love"?

Because I love you

You are my everything and above
