The secret to being young
I’m at that point where I just want everyone to leave me alone
I get it
I'm just a teenager that know nothing about life
Though my life hasn’t really started yet
I still have managed to mess it up
I don’t know what I did wrong but I did it
Wait I know…
I was young
I am young
And I did young things
Do young things
People always say youth is wasted on the young
But that’s just because we aren’t allowed to enjoy it
Is this really the high point of my life?
I'm mean why to people keep telling me that?
Is life really all downhill from here?
From where I'm seeing it… the best is yet to come
But that’s jus me again
being young and stuff
Saying stupid young things
Intertwine with hope for a brighter future…
I know the adult thing would be to recognize that my life is over
But I'm not an adult yet
Not really
Being young is not an age thing
It’s a hope thing
And I intend to be young for a very long time
