Secret Door

I open my secret door
as I lie and go to sleep.
I hope to find my
imagination in my deep slumber.
What will it be tonight?
Romance, action or suspense?
It's the thought that keeps me up at night,
guessing what comes next.

I do not like the exit  sign,
above my secret door.
The sound of my alarm
ignites the red glow I loathe.
I guess it's time to wake up,
another day in the real world.

Eight hours isn't enough inside of
My secret door.
