Secret Garden

In the place beyond what i know, it exists
Abstract and ethereal in a secret way I allow myself to delight in

In this place my mind is the secret garden where it dwells

Imagination blooms every spring in the core of this garden

Bringing with it the a inexplicable peace and unearthing the soft, new life

Sunlight pours over all the dark places

Illuminating life’s beauty within its rays

At night, the moonlight sculpts and carves each new thought

In the places between the greenery

The garden explodes in bursts of color

The garden is evolving

In full bloom, it creates a final entity;

The poem.

There exists a world of paradox within the whole of its lushness

Heaven and hell

Love and indifference

After all, can roses grown with care and attention not impale the very flesh by which they are tended?

Through every manifestation of language, exists the escape to a place unknown.
