Secret Getaway
I took a day away
To a place I won't say
Where the sky is clear blue
And it's just me and you.
The breeze softly hit my face
When you looked at me
And my heart began to race;
You were all I could see.
The fun part is all my troubles are gone
And I don't have to think.
Instead I see a green palm tree
And the sun putting a blanket over me.
The clock runs its hands
To make the moon appear
And now the two of us are just standing here.
Then we holds hands,
And our feet imprint the sand,
As we roam in our secret getaway.
